While some theaters draw in the crowds for Christmas, Jobsite is — in the words of one of the company’s artistic associates, Spencer Meyers — “those kids. Halloween is our holiday.” This year, they’re staging Edgar & Emily — wherein Edgar Allan Poe comes back from the dead to visit with Emily Dickinson. Apparently it’s laugh-out-loud funny, because really, weren’t these two comic geniuses? No? Well, still, Jobsite’s billing it as best for “lit nerds and history lovers,” so you’ll know where to find us. And they promise we’ll laugh.
