The Tampa Bay Lightning have earned 10 wins in the course of their first 14 games. Bolts rookie Mathieu Joseph has had a big hand in those Ws, but hustle, hitting and smart skating don't quite shine on the stat sheet the way a goal does.

Somehow, the back of the net has eluded Joseph, a 21-year-old winger born in Quebec, Canada.

Not anymore.

On Sunday night, the new kid did a good job clogging up the ice during a third period flurry in front of the Ottawa Senators goal and was handsomely rewarded when his linemate Anthony Cirelli put the puck on Joseph's stick for an easy goal that tied the game at 2-2.

It's the first NHL goal for Joseph, who has a promising career in front of him. As an added bonus, the Bolts beat the Sens 4-3 in overtime.
