Franz “LJ” Hilberath is a Clearwater-native who contributes to Creative Loafing's Music section. He previously served as an intern and is now a freelance contributor for all things music.
LJ can be found in the field reviewing concerts and music festivals around the country, and also works interviews for both local (Ari Chi, Blunts & Blondes, Madnap) and international touring artists (Rüfus du Sol, GRiZ, Odesza, Claude VonStroke).
In addition to working as contributor for Creative Loafing, LJ is co-founder of MP3DU, a college music outlet that works to promote aspiring students and underground artists. His byline can be found on EDM.com, The Tallahassee Democrat, and Marquee Magazine. LJ also maintains a personal blog at Franz.mp3.
