Hope Montgomery and Jason Ruhe—owners of St. Pete hotspot Brick & Mortar— are opening a seafood-forward restaurant, but you might have to pay a toll, and take a drive, to get a taste of Sea Worthy Fish + Bar as the restaurant is located at 1110 Pinellas Bayway S. in Tierra Verde.

And before you start sweating, Brick & Mortar isn’t going anywhere, the new spot just an expansion, and a flex of the duo's culinary creations with a focus on seafood dishes.

The Tampa Bay Times said the couple hopes to debut the new restaurant by the beginning of February, and the duo hinted at bringing ceviche, local fish, smoked fish and non-seafood options to the menu. The new, 150-seat concept is also set to serve up sips including craft cocktails, brews and wine. An outdoor patio area overlooking the water offers locals a destination for date night.

Sea Worthy Fish + Bar will initially offer just dinner service, but it plans to expand to weekend lunch and brunch service. More details to come as the menu is fleshed out and the official opening date is announced.
