Celebrity chef and “Top Chef” contestant Fabio Viviani will debut his newest Chuck Lager America’s Tavern location in Oldsmar next week.
The grand opening is on Wednesday, April 19 at 4016 Tampa Rd and starts at 5 p.m. with a ribbon cutting by the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Guests can enjoy complimentary appetizers, drinks, and live music.
The new spot was created by Viviani, Chuck Lager, Craig Colby and Michael Colby. The menu is focused primarily on casual "New American," cuisine but features international influences, like Fabio’s signature beef & pork ricotta meatballs, truffle mushroom flatbread and Italian Cubano sandwich.
The drink menu includes craft cocktails, bourbons, wines, whisky and draft beers.
Viviani, a restaurateur who moved from Florence, Italy to the United States to launch his cooking career, has been seen on three seasons of the television show “Top Chef,” winning fan favorite on season 5.
The first Chuck Lager America’s Tavern in the Bay opened at The Shops at Wiregrass, in Wesley Chapel in 2020 and the second at Westshore Marina District last year.
