Tampa Bay is no stranger to celebrity chefs leaving their marks around town. "Top Chef" competitor Fabio Viviani already opened Osteria, Mole Y Abuela, and he's in the works to open two more restaurants — Shibui and La Pergola — with the help of The Nocturnal Hospitality Group.

Now, locals can be on the lookout for another celeb chef.

Jeffrey Jew — another competitor from Bravo's "Top Chef," and the chef at Beach Drive's Stillwaters Tavern — is set to debut a still-unnamed concept in downtown St. Pete where he plans to serve Nordic and Asian-inspired dishes.

In an interview with St. Pete Rising, former C1 Bank CEO Taylor Burgess detailed how of Neptune Flood insurance company and real estate development company TRB Development purchased a former Baycare medical office building stationed at 400 6th Street. S. That development is also the planned home of Jew's new restaurant, which will be located on the first floor and feature an outdoor garden area.

"The inspiration is from my childhood and the journey to where I am today," Jew told the blog. "My mother is Norwegian and my father is Chinese. I guess my secret is now out."

The restaurant is now under construction, and we can expect a debut sometime between April and June 2020. More details to follow as construction continues.
