Colorful springtime cocktails

Even though Easter has recently passed and the kiddies have found all of their plastic eggs, the adults can still enjoy some springtime treats with these cocktails inspired by the pretty pastel colors of Easter eggs.

Blue Egg:

2 oz. Russian Standard Vodka
0.5 oz. pineapple juice
0.5 oz. lime juice
Grenadine
Blue Elixir #9

Combine Russian Standard, pineapple juice, lime juice, and Blue Elixir in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and pour grenadine so it sinks to the bottom. Garnish with orange, cherry, and sprig of mint.

Green Egg:
This cocktail is perfect for those of you who will be celebrating Easter outside, as the color adds to the fresh, green blooms you’re surrounded with. The hint of lime juice and coconut flavor will surely get you in the mood for the warm, sunny days ahead!

2 oz. Lucid Absinthe
0.5 oz. lime juice
1 oz. Coco Lopez
Teal Elixir #5

Combine Lucid Absinthe, lime juice, Coco Lopez, and Teal Elixir in a shaker with ice. Strain into a tall rocks glass with ice and top with Lucid Absinthe. Garnish with a lemon, lime, and maraschino cherry.

Pink Egg:
This pleasant cocktail is the perfect cure for those of you who have been trying to resist the delicious Easter treats at the supermarket. The sweet notes of Flor de Caña rum will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth, even if the Easter Bunny does forget your favorite candy this year!
