Have your bob haircuts and suspenders ready. Craft Street Kitchen's second location in Oldsmar will celebrate its 1st birthday with a huge 1920s-themed bash, starting at 4 p.m. Thursday.
At least seven local breweries, including Escape Brewing Company, Pair O' Dice Brewing Company and de Bine Brewing Co., are set to offer one-of-a-kind releases and giveaways during the something-for-everyone celebration.
Dressed in Prohibition-era attire, the crowd can compete for the title of "Best Dressed," which a guest panel will determine, while enjoying shuffleboard and other activities outside. An outdoor bar is also planned to create shorter wait times for beverages. Order from the event's special drink menu, whose sales will benefit a local charity (or bring some canned food items to snag giveaways and prizes).
Additional highlights are flappers, a live DJ and a cocktail contest between Craft Street bartenders. They'll fashion drinks using Basil Hayden's bourbon whiskey for guests to sample throughout the evening; the best cocktail, as chosen by the crowd, will be added to the gastropub's menu.
