According to its Facebook page, the Pipo’s to Go location in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg is closed.
The holiday hours sign is still up on Pipo’s to Go at 8 4th St. N in St. Pete, stating that the fast-casual Cuban restaurant would be open after Jan. 2—but it never reopened its doors.
This location was open in downtown St. Pete for almost 5 years.
Pipo’s to Go is known for its quick service and comforting Cuban dishes like arroz con pollo, ropa vieja, slow roasted pork, empanadas and rice and beans. If you feel the Pipo’s craving don’t fret, because the family-owned spot still has two other locations in St. Pete—one on Bay Pines Blvd. and another at the Historic Manhattan Casino.
