Downtown Tampa hotspot Jackson’s is paying its employees $100 to get vaccinated

Shit, I'd get vaccinated again for that.

If you’ve ever seen the crowd at downtown Tampa hotspot Jackson’s Bistro, then you know the place is always crawling with people. General Manager Miles McConnell says it’s busier than ever at the spot, but he also said that sanitation, cleanliness and the health of employees is still top of mind for ownership.

That’s why Jackson’s is offering employees who get vaccinated against coronavirus $100. A rep for the restaurant said that all of Jackson’s approximately 150 employees are eligible for the vaxx cash.

“We recognize how many people come into contact with our staff on an average day. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, we are now offering free, COVID testing to all employees, as well as a monetary incentive to get vaccinated,” McConnell wrote in a release.

The bonus is only available for employees who get both appointments while employed by Jackson's, so new hires pre-vaxxed can't cash in, but McConnell added that despite a decrease in COVID-19 infections, Jackson's is still rocking regular deep cleanings and disinfection processes carried out by OSHA compliant cleaning companies.
