I had the opportunity to sample several of the new sip-worthy menu items:
Berry Delicious Mojito (signature drink)— Made with vanilla vodka and a strawberry blend, this tastes like a cross between a frozen daiquiri and a glass of strawberry juice, almost like a liquid daiquiri. If you’re not in a “berry” fruity mood, be a “wingman” and try the WingMan Mojito.
Salty Pretzel (specialty shot) — Made with whipped cream vodka and butterscotch and hazelnut liqueurs, this was one of my favorites. It tastes like a butterscotch and hazelnut flavor explosion, nicely contrasted by the salt on the glass’s rim, but not really pretzel-like. If you have kissing on your mind, try the French Kiss in Florida flavor shot.
Wing-A-Rita (margarita) — I’m not a tequila fan, but if you are, just “wing it” and try this beverage. This is a margarita with a citrusy twist, enhanced with lemon, lime and orange.
Red Sangria — Made with a combination of several red wines and juices, and made onsite, this was another favorite of mine. It’s deliciously sweet and goes down so smoothly, it tastes more like a glass of juice or fruit punch than an alcoholic beverage.
White Sangria — Made with chardonnay wine, juices, lemon and lime, this is your best bet if you prefer drier wines.
In addition to the Feature Drink Menu, WingHouse has added a few items to their food menu, including salads, several sandwiches and an additional burger option. The mega-sized salads weigh in at a whopping twenty-one ounces, and fulfill your vegetable requirement for the day. My favorite was the Asian Salad, thanks to the sesame and ginger flavor combination of the dressing. The Wing Sandwich is ideal if you prefer wings and buns (and breasts) at WingHouse…
