You’ve made it halfway through the week, you should celebrate. Here’s a list of places all over that want to hook you up for being a weekday warrior. From movie night to happy hour, take advantage of deals all over Tampa Bay for your hump day relaxation.
Cinebistro Make sure to buy your ticket ahead of time, you’ll have to choose your seat — the back row comes with footrests! Then, upon arrival, you can pick from a select wine list that’s half-off. That’s huge. This could be solid for a solo wind down venture, or a mid-week date night. Definitely order their fat refillable popcorn, and spring for the Oven Baked Goat Cheese made up of creamy baked chèvre, pepitas with a balsamic glaze and fig. Get a little fancy, you’re in Hyde Park, after-all. Also, keep in mind, the parking garage is free.
Kona Grill You can double up on deals by indulging in true Wine Down Wednesday festivities. Offerings include half off bottles of wine — and if you land in the sweet spot of their weekday happy hours, 2-7 p.m. & 9-11 p.m., you’ll also be privy to $5 sushi rolls and half-off their happy hour menu which includes fish tacos, potstickers and a selection of flatbreads.
Hook’s Sushi Bar & Thai Food Offers $1 sushi night. If you’re a true fan, grab the $5 sushi from Publix for lunch, and then roll through Hook’s after work for a super low-key night. Best if you get there a little early or expect a wait.
Queen’s Head Deals on wine by the glass and all draft beers are 2 for 1 from 5-7 p.m. Great outdoor seating. Half-off their appetizer menu, ranging from seafood dishes like mussels and Thai shrimp to creamy classics like poutine topped with either short rib rage or chicken curry.
Byblos Cafe From 4-7 p.m. every weeknight you can score $4 appetizers and $6 cocktails. Slide in on a Wednesday, and you’ll also be able to choose from over 30 labels for just $20. Blessed.
