A fresh chapter is on the horizon for downtown St. Pete’s Grateful Fed Pub. Launched on the ground floor of Urban Style Flats at 300 10th St. S. more than a year ago, the popular Grateful Dead-themed pub and lounge has relocated to 711 Third Ave. S., where Habibi Lounge most recently operated at the new Palm Grove Inn.
The Grateful Fed hosted a final live music event at its original space in early March in preparation for the move to the larger location.
Promising a full-liquor bar, the pub and lounge was slated to reopen on Aug. 1, but that date has since been pushed back. The team is working diligently to debut ASAP, according to a post to the Grateful Fed Facebook page earlier this month.
“Please check back soon for the new date! Stay grateful!” reads the update.
The Grateful Fed, known for the eclectic bar fare its serves after hours, is the brainchild of chef-owner Sean Ford.
