Cups of custard come in three flavors at BurgerFi: vanilla, chocolate and vanilla-chocolate swirl.

Turns out, in addition to National Fried Chicken & Waffle Day, Wednesday is also observed as National Frozen Custard Day.

To celebrate the dessert holiday, BurgerFi restaurants nationwide — including Trinity and Tampa's SoHo neighborhood — plan to offer patrons one small cup of custard for free when they mention the promotion at the order counter.

No purchase is required to snag the complimentary treat, which comes in a trio of flavors: vanilla, chocolate and vanilla-chocolate swirl.

Based in Florida, the fast-casual gourmet burger franchise also operates locally in Sarasota.
