Hurricane Milton: Here’s where to find Tampa Bay grocery stores that are currently open

Grocery stores across Tampa Bay are slowly starting to reopen in the wake of Hurricane Milton. Here’s which locations are open, and how to check on the status of your local grocer.

Publix
Publix has an interactive map showing the status of its locations around Florida, and in the Tampa Bay region. Right now, most Publix stores around Tampa Bay are open, but with modified hours.

Winn-Dixie
All Tampa Bay Winn-Dixies are currently closed. However the grocer says many locations will reopen on Friday, Oct. 11. You can check the status of your local Winn-Dixie store here.

Walmart
The vast majority of Tampa Bay Walmarts are currently open. But as now, there’s still 11 stores closed. You can check the status of each one here.

Aldi
As of Friday, most Tampa Bay Aldi locations are closed, with plans to open Saturday, Oct. 12. You can track the status of your local store here.  Right now, the following Tampa Bay Aldi stores are open:

– 8521 W. Hillsborough Ave, Tampa
– 18002 Highwoods Preserve Pkwy, Tampa
– 2643 US Hwy 19, Holiday
– 6765 22nd Ave N, St Petersburg
– 12134 State Road 54, Odessa

Target
All Tampa Bay Target locations are currently open with normal business hours. You can check the status of each one here.
