Husband and wife Lincoln and Kara Pereira are opening the latest Island Fin Poké franchise location in Carrollwood at 12913 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. The Pereiras hope for an early May soft opening with a grand opening to follow shortly, they told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.

Island Fin Poké is a fast-casual restaurant focusing on made to order poke bowls. The Orlando-based chain also has Dole Whip, a frozen pineapple soft serve made famous at Disney World.

Though Island Fin Poké is a franchise, the Pereiras are the sole owners of the Carrollwood location. As CL Tampa Bay reported, the franchise is opening a handful of locations around the Tampa Bay area including in Wesley Chapel and St. Petersburg.
