How does Taco Bus plan to ring in Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Day? With food, of course.

At each of its 10 locations, the no-frills Mexican restaurant will offer two limited-edition dishes from Oct. 29 through Nov. 2 in honor of the holiday, which Mexican and other Latin American families observe to celebrate and remember their deceased loved ones.

Those dishes are the Taco of Darkness and Burrito of Darkness; essentially what sets this duo apart from the regular menu items is that they call for blue corn tortillas.

Taco Bus’s weeklong Day of the Day fiesta also promises festive decor, music and kid-friendly giveaways. CL would encourage guests to partake in the costume contest, but, well, telling people to wear cultural symbols that’re a big part of Mexican tradition and culture as a “costume” is not really our call to make.
