The restaurant is currently taking reservations on OpenTable for the opening on May 23. So jump on the app and snag a seat before they fill up. Sophia's has been sharing photos of its finished interior on Facebook, showcasing a clean aesthetic with greenery and succulent accents.
Booth, community and bar seating is available for guests.
The owners of the popular restaurant Lolita's Wine Market, Alex and Kelly Rodriguez, are also behind Sophia's concept. The duo tapped local Pastry Chef Megan Barnes to handle dessert offerings, like cheesecake among other airy delights.
Sophia’s will pair shareable small plates, one them being a four-ounce monkfish piccata, with craft cocktails. The menu is expected to have a significant wine presence, too.
Sophia’s will serve dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday before considering happy hour and brunch offerings.
UPDATE May 18 6:39p.m.: The restaurant pushed opening date back due to finishing touches.
