Duckweed Urban Grocery has grown a lot over the last few years, but they’re not stopping yet.

Last week, the local grocer announced yet another location, set to open “in just a few weeks” at 500 N. Rome Ave, according to its Instagram.

Official offerings are TBA, but Duckweed is known for its health-conscious selections that cater to diets of every kind—including vegan and keto. The other locations also offer beer, wine, pet products, ready-to-eat items and other grocery necessities.

The opening marks the grocer’s fourth location since the small space opened up next to The Hub at 305 E. Polk St. nine years ago. That location now resides on the first floor of the Element apartments at 803 N. Tampa St., and its second and third locations live at 111 12th St. in Channelside and 512 Bridge St. in the Westshore Marina District.

In 2018, Farmacy Vegan Kitchen + Bakery opened up inside the grocer’s first location and has made itself available inside the other two as well.

No official word has been given on whether or not Farmacy will be opening up inside the Noho Square store, but Duckweed was hopeful in the comments on its announcement post.

“We will need your amazing food for our customers!!,” the grocer wrote alongside tags to Farmacy, Skratch Kitchen Tampa, Clementine Chef and Mickey’s Subs.
