Restaurant News: Texas de Brazil steakhouse to open in Tampa, February 23rd

According to their press release:


The restaurant’s menu consists of 15 grilled meats; all prepared in the traditional Brazilian method over an open flame and carved tableside by the restaurant’s authentically costumed Gauchos, as well as an elaborate salad area, wine list, dessert menu, full liquor bar and private rooms available for special functions.


Upon arrival to Texas de Brazil, guests will be treated to the restaurant’s sumptuous seasonal salad area, which includes appetizers, soups, salads and an assortment of gourmet cheeses. They will then be invited to utilize the flip cards located at each seating area to begin their one-of-a-kind experience.


When diners flip their card to green, a troop of gaucho-clad carvers will be signaled to begin serving the restaurant’s deliciously-seasoned meats from large sword-like skewers tableside, which are accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread, and sweet-fried bananas.


Signature cocktails such as the Caipirinha compliment the flavors of each dining experience, or a bottle of wine selected by one of the restaurant’s in-house wine connoisseur’s extensive lists to create the perfect pairing. Guests also may indulge in one of Texas de Brazil’s many dessert selections; relax with an after-dinner drink, steaming espresso or, a hand-rolled cigar.

Texas de Brazil, a Brazilian steakhouse that combines the cuisines of Southern Brazil with the "generous spirit of Texas," is set to open on Wednesday, February 23rd in the Westshore area of Tampa. "Generous" being the keyword because it's also all you can (or are able to) eat.

Besides boasting a myriad of meat, they'll also be offering a soup, salad and cheese bar, South American-inspired desserts, cocktails, an extensive wine list, and hand-rolled cigars.
