National Cheese Pizza Day goes down on Wednesday, and you know what that means. No? Well, the Clearwater location for Russo's New York Pizzeria has committed to observing the understandably popular food holiday with discounted pies.
The casual New York-style pizza franchise's large cheese pizza is regularly priced at $15.95, but in honor of Cheese Pizza Day, the 16-inch classic costs $10. Valid for dine-in or takeout customers, the all-day offer is limited to one pie per person.
Opened almost two years ago, Russo's Clearwater is the first Tampa-area location for Houston-based Russo's Restaurants. The franchise is famous for its pizzas, crafted with house-made dough and the Russo family's longtime sauce recipe inside brick ovens. Italian dishes like ravioli pomodoro and tiramisu are also on the menu.
