Let’s admit it, not every Karen you know is worthy of the memes and other internet jabs that the name has inspired. For example, my oldest cousin is a Karen and happens to be a very nice person. And that Fourth of July BLM protest mom who stood in front of a police car speeding down towards protesters on Dale Mabry Highway? A Karen.

St. Pete Beach’s Boulevard Burgers and Tap House feels for these good Karens and is treating them to a free burger today through March 12.

So if you’re a Karen and you think you deserve a break from the hate, then bring identification into Boulevard Burgers—at 5905 Gulf Blvd.—for a free Blvd. burger, which includes LTO and a pickle. Bad Karens get a free burger too, there’s no moral test to complete before the deal.

Cheese and bacon cost extra, and the freebie is for dine-in only so sorry, Karen, no takeout. Don’t forget to still tip like your money is on fire though, the servers are still working to bring it to you.

The restaurant says that “all spellings are accepted.” So unless you spell “Karen” S-T-E-V-E you should be good.

Boulevard Burgers has a lot of events and specials throughout the week, including Yappy Hour from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays with a dollar off drafts when you bring your dog (not sure what kind of deal you get if your dog is named Karen).

The restaurant is known for its unique burgersit had a special Fido burger for your pup last August and a Big Daddy burger during 2018’s pride month that benefited Project No Labels.

And Karen, no complaining about a free meal. OK? Save that for Panera.
