Here’s what’s going down in Tampa Bay’s food scene this week:

  • Easy Tiger, a hi-fi listening lounge and cocktail bar, opens next Thursday in St. Petersburg, just a few doors down from owner Matt Kaye’s iconic dive bar, The Bends.
  • Alessi Bakery’s new massive location opens next Wednesday, two years after plans were announced.
  • Bryce Bonsack, chef at Michelin-starred Tampa Heights Italian restaurant Rocca, is among the nominees in the 2026 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards.
  • South Tampa steakhouse Renzo’s will move to a new location less than two miles from where it’s been for 20 years.
