Tampa Bay’s newest Topgolf location debuts at 220 Carillon Pkwy. N in St. Pete, near the St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport.
According to its website, St. Pete’s 67,000 square-foot Topgolf will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, June 30, although it’s currently open for walk-ins.
Topgolf’s new, three-story facility features over 200 TVs, a full-service bar and restaurant, a rooftop terrace with fire pits, a variety of golf-related games and over 100 climate-controlled driving range bays.
Although Topgolf is known for its fancy driving range technology, its restaurant and bar dishes out a menu of high-end bar food that might warrant a visit, too.
The entertainment destination dishes out burgers, sandwiches, salads and shareables like buffalo chicken dip, mac and cheese bites, tacos, flatbreads and various flavors of wings. Its bar offers all of the expected beer and wine options, in addition to a menu of signature cocktails.
The opening of St. Pete’s Topgolf was announced almost four years ago, and was originally slated to happen in the fall of 2020. But Topgolf’s future neighbors, residents of the Carillon Office Park, sued the City of St. Pete for approving changes to its site plan “without notice, public participation or public hearings,” according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The only other Topgolf location in Tampa Bay resides in Brandon. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Topgolf charges $32/hr from 10 a.m.-noon, $42/hr from noon-5 p.m. and $54/hr from 5 p.m.-midnight for its bay rentals, with slightly more expensive rates on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
On Tuesdays, all bays can be reserved for half of the normal weekday price.
