Tampa Bay “American Chopper” superfans now have a shrine in Pinellas Park.
OCC Road House & Museum—a restaurant and entertainment that is a joint venture between Paul Teutul Sr. of Orange County Choppers and local hospitality giant Keith Overton—is having its grand opening on June 25-27.
The celebration happens in concert with the grand opening of the Road House’s neighbor, Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson.
In phone call, Overton told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that while the mailing address—10575 49th St N—is technically in Clearwater, OCC Road House & Museum is in Pinellas Park.
His and Teutul’s 11,000-square-foot space broke ground in December and includes a restaurant serving up classic American-style food with indoor and outdoor seating. “The restaurant will also feature a massive 25,000-square-foot pavilion for concerts, outdoor dining, a billiards hall, shuffleboard tables, floor games, steel darts, ringer games, foosball and other entertainment and a retail store,” they said.
The party starts Friday night with a ticketed event and concert with “Dust on the Bottle” country singer David Lee Murphy. General admission tickets are $20, VIP will cost you $50. Saturday and Sunday festivities are free and family-friendly with tours and local-band performances scheduled.
“We’ve put together an event everyone will love—OCC fans, Harley fans, and anyone who loves good food, music, memorabilia, and fun. It’s a great chance to get a taste of what’s to come at this one-of-a-kind entertainment and dining destination,” said Overton, who is the former CEO of TradeWinds Island Resort.
