Inspired by her days as a student working and exploring the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan, The Chelsea St. Pete owner Teresa Vidal Chalkley and her British husband/business partner combined her love of New York with the vibe of what he calls the “original” Chelsea in London.
The Chelsea—which opened in St. Pete’s Warehouse Arts District at 2462 5th Ave. S—serves hot and cold drinks like Batdorf & Bronson coffee, matcha lattes and iced green tea. A display fridge and bakery case is home to other sweet treats.
The coffee shop realizes how important it is to be eco-friendly in any way possible from the vendors they work with all the way down to the packaging for its retail store, which sells items like t-shirts, gourmet spices, and home decor.

The Chelsea St. Pete is open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
