This Plant City sandwich shop's next four-course dining experience is coming up

And it's BYOW.

Every month, the Cuban sandwich shop in downtown Plant City turns into a formal dining experience, delivering one-off dishes that aren't regularly served. That M.O. — the one Norma's has had since March — won't change next week, when the restaurant breaks out the white tablecloths in preparation for the fifth edition of its Night at Norma's.

But the menu will.

Night at Norma's allows food-obsessed folks in the Plant City area to gather over an elegant, intimate meal, both thoughtfully prepared and constantly evolving, in their own backyard — no drive to Tampa necessary.

The next Night at Norma's is scheduled for July 13, and head chef Andy Nassar's menu is driven by an all-American theme this time around. Guests can look forward to dishes like creamy sweet potato and carrot soup with toasted pecans, three-cheese mac with apple-smoked pulled pork, fried chicken and waffles with maple compound butter, and homestyle apple pie a la mode.

Even better is the restaurant's policy of BYOW (read: bring your own wine).

Typically, the four-course dinner offers three seatings, but the 7:30 p.m. time slot has sold out. Give Norma's a call to purchase tickets to the 4:30 and 6 p.m. sessions, which cost $35 per person.
