Well, Top Chef fans, this is it. Tonight’s final challenge will show us who’s got mad enough skills to be crowned our new Top Chef. One last chance to see the Brothers Voltaggio’s ‘Cain and Abel’ act and Kevin’s lusciously infamous red beard.
After watching the preview the preview videos (below) I still have no clue as to what their final challenge will be. But I can guarantee you this: it’s gonna be hard. From the looks of it, Kevin seems very confident in his final challenge performance, while Mike is sweating bullets. Bryan never shows very much emotion so I can’t surmise what was going on in his head; my best guess: “I want to beat Michael or take him down with me.”
Though I’m very excited about the finale tonight, it’s also a little bittersweet. Despite bitching about some of the lame challenges and how boring the show has been at times, I’ve become quite familiar with some of the final cheftestants (and actually calling them by their real names occasionally) and it saddens me to say goodbye to this season.
Don’t forget to check out the Top Chef Ultimate Virtual Viewing Party tonight LIVE during the East and West Coast airings of the show. Some of the cheftestants will be joining us fans on Twitter to chat during the show. (We’ve been having Top Chef Tweet Parties for weeks, I’m glad to see they’ve finally jumped on the bandwagon to join in on the fun.)
Tune in to Bravo tonight at 10 pm EST/9 pm C, check out our own live Tweets during the show (Jeff: @TheStew, Katie: @culinarypirate), and listen to our podcast here tomorrow! (You can now download on iTunes and check out Jeffs Top Chef Flickr page.)
