Praise the lawd. Chris Tomlin is turning 50 this year, and is still writing those musical love letters to Jesus.

During lockdown, he released Chris Tomlin & Friends, a new album featuring an all-star lineup of country and Christian musicians including Lady A, Thomas Rhett, and Florida Georgia Line.

His new tour, which stops at Tampaโ€™s Amalie Arena next week, doesnโ€™t have an all-star lineup big enough to fill, say, Raymond James Stadium, but it doesnโ€™t hurt that heโ€™s closing for Hillsong Unitedโ€”a church the New York Times says โ€œhas lost nine of its 16 American church campusesโ€ in the last three weeks after both a high-profile pastor and the churchโ€™s founder were caught in scandals.

There arenโ€™t any vaccine requirements for entry, but you should have it by now anyway. It was a gift from God, you ungrateful heathen.
