Just got a show announcement last night that arrived too late to make it to print. Hasidic reggae rap artist and singer Matisyahu will perform a rare acoustic set at Push Ultra Lounge next Wednesday, March 10, at 8 p.m.; tickets are $10 and available at the door (ages 21 and up only, please).

LA-by-way-of-Chicago rockers OK Go — which released one of the year's best albums so far, Of the Colour of the Blue Sky — have also confirmed some dates with funk rock trio Earl Greyhound and LA multi-instrumentalist Robert Francis, which includes 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Crowbar in Ybor City ($15) and Saturday, May 15, at Firestone Live in Orlando ($15). Both are all ages shows.

OK Go has always been known for their innovative videos (remember the treadmills?). A few days ago, the foursome premiered a pretty badass video for their single, "This Too Shall Pass," and it features a two-story Rube Goldberg Machine that the band built over three months in an abandoned warehouse in Silverlake, California. The friends who helped them put the contraption together work for NASA and Jet Propulsion Labs, so the results are pretty effing cool, not to mention amazing. You definitely want to see this (after the jump).
