There's no doubt that Crowbar has entrenched itself in the local music scene. If you go to shows with any regularity — and even if you don't — you've likely caught something at the multi-Best of the Bay-winning Ybor City mainstay, since it hosts pretty much every genre spanning indie and big name locals, touring acts and international talents.

So you can bet we’re pretty stoked Crowbar has made it through yet another year with flying colors and celebrates the lovely milestone with a ninth anniversary blow-out this Saturday.

Leading the bill is New Orleans' skanky rambling and tumbling Dirty Bourbon River Show, an ensemble that infuses their horns-and-accordion-driven mix of blues, gypsy jazz, klezmer music and rock n' roll with plenty of vibrant circus-hued whimsy and howling vigor that translates into a bombastic live show perfect for the festive vibe that's sure to be pumping on this night. They, too, are celebrating a ninth milestone — album No. 9, Important Things Humans Should Know, which dropped in April.

Other confirmed acts include Poetry 'n Lotion, The Underhill Family Orchestra, The Hummingbirds, Acho Brother, and DJs Deacon and Joey Da Glasses. Further details and another "special announcement" forthcoming. Stay tuned for details and hit up the Facebook invite to make your attendance official. Crowbar's 9-Year Anniversary Party kicks off 7 p.m. Sat., Dec. 5, at Crowbar, 1812 N. 17th St., Ybor City. Admission is FREE.
