It’s been about a year since drummer Darren King left Mutemath, and this Wednesday-night show finds the Grammy-nominated composer and Kanye West collaborator (King co-produced “Real Friends”) headlining a show where another one of his bands (Sucré, fronted by King’s wife and former Eisley keyboardist/vocalist Stacy King) handles opening duty. The Kings have been a part of some of the most progressive, yet accessible, indie-rock from the last decade, so we’re expecting nothing less than excellence at this show.
