Last night in Los Angeles, DJ Khaled joined John Legend in playing musical director for an all-star tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle (and Kobe Bryant) during the Grammy awards, and while we don't have a date for the show yet, Tampa fans can expect to see the DJ (and meme) at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino sometime this year.
That's according to a press release, which says that the 44-year-old—whose "Higher," featuring Legend and Nipsey Hussle, picked up hardware for Best Rap/Sung Performance—is holding an eight-date residency at Hard Rock properties, including those in Hollywood, Florida, Atlantic City and Tampa.
Khaled joins Alicia Keys, Brandi Carlile, Willie Nelson and more as one of many 2020 Grammy winners coming to Tampa Bay this year.
Getting anxious about when Khaled, who last appeared in Tampa with Demi Lovato in March 2018, is supposed to actually play? Don't, and remember, “Always have faith. Always have hope.”
