In a fast-changing region, there might not be a town that’s evolved—for better and worse—faster than Dunedin. However, a constant for nearly three now, has been Dunedin Brewery.

Starting Friday, the microbrewery (Florida’s first) cuts the cake on 27 years in the biz with a pair of new beers on tap (“Pineapple Salad,” “Electra Gose”), plus three days of music on two stages.

Three of the five acts—Road To Nowhere, Deadseat, Know Your Enemy—are tribute bands made up of the Bay’s best musicians (Talking Heads, Grateful Dead, Rage Against the Machine), while the rest play jam-funk (Sauce Pocket) and off-the-wall country and hip-hop (Stick & Ditty).

There’s never a cover at Dunedin Brewery which celebrates it 27th anniversary from Friday-Sunday, July 7-9. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
