If you were at that dream 2019 Amalie Arena show Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra put on, then you already know, and while the ELO Experience does not include lead genius Jeff Lynne, it’s probably the closest you’re going to get right now. And for me, any ELO is good ELO.

Though technically a tribute band, the Experience is made up of 12 professional musicians recreating the tunes of one of the greatest bands of all time. Don’t worry, strings are included because you can’t play “Livin’ Thing'' without strings, and you can’t have an ELO tribute show without “Livin’ Thing.” It also seems like the lead singer wears a wig to get that proper Lyne look.

The COVID-19 protocols at Capitol Theatre and its mama bear venue Ruth Eckerd Hall are ever evolving and ticket holders will be emailed the current policies before the show. An updated list of coronavirus guidelines is available via rutheckerdhall.com.

The ELO Experience. Saturday, March 13, 8 p.m. $29-$55. Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, Clearwater. rutheckerdhall.com
