When Jst Ray isnโ€™t DJ-ing for wild hip-hop collective Barely Legal, sheโ€™s fronting The Fuss, a local funk septet that’s one of the best new bands in Tampa Bay.

The Fuss isโ€”which is releasing a new single next monthโ€”is joined on the bill by two bands making their live debuts: Warehouse-rock outfit The Georgeโ€”which recently finished recording its debut albumโ€”and Fever Head, featuring members of local jazz trio Katara.

Tickets to see The Fuss play Hooch and Hive in Tampa on Saturday, July 15 are $12.
