As if the boys' 25th anniversary tour wasn't good enough. Today, Hanson announced a new album and String Theory symphonic tour that comes to St. Petersburg's Mahaffey Theater on October 26.

The album doesn't have a release date yet, but it was produced by Hanson and will feature new tracks, as well as already-released songs rearranged with full symphonic orchestration. The band — which last played the Bay area in September 2017 — worked with composer David Campbell (who is also Beck Hansen's daddy) in putting String Theory together.

The only other Florida show on the 23-date North American tour is an October 25 date at The Fillmore in Miami.

Ticket prices for the St. Petersburg show have yet to be announced, but a pre-sale starts on July 24 while public on sale begins on July 27.
