✔️ Jayceeoh w/Jaykode/Kevin Flum/Laser Assasins/Shndo/Nocturne/Grant Lee/LawLaw Jayceeoh’s new single with Veela dabbles in future bass, new tempos and big kick drums, but we’re willing to bet that the Los Angeles producer born Jacob Osher will drop plenty of the hi-hat-littered trap he’s become famous for at this Carrollwood club gig. Classical and bass fusion-ist JayKode opens the show along with rapper Kevin Flum and a host of local support. (Whiskey North, Tampa)INFO
Perpetual Groove w/Ella Jet and Future Soul Yet another band featured in CL’s recent music issue is in action when Ella Jet opens for veteran jam band Perpetual Groove, which is staging a stripped-back acoustic set just two months after a full-band performance at State Theatre. Kesha & Macklemore It may very well be the most fantastic and confoundingly weird pairing of the summer, and it’s coming to an end in Tampa when oddball pop hitmaker Kesha and west coast rapper Macklemore wrap their “Good Old Days” tour at the old Gary. Expect intricate stage setups, hits and a whole lot of glitter and then keep your fingers crossed for the kind of strange end-of-tour pranks that only Kesha and Mack could dream up. ✔️ Lil Baby w/Project Youngin/Yung Dred/I75kebo/No Cap Lil Baby has only been rapping for about 16 months, and while he’s still looking for a signature sound or style, he hasn’t had to look very far for a fanbase. Blame it on the bang-bang delivery on his big hit, “Yes, Indeed” or his recent designation as FADER magazine’s Rookie of the Year, and then look to see if he can carry the momentum into the third year of his still-burgeoning career.
