Music, at its core, is supposed to be a no-cost expression of the joy you feel inside, and next Thursday gives you the chance to let that feeling out, for free, as La Romantica Milonguera Argentinian orchestra takes to Water Works Park to play some tango (and hopefully some candombe, carnavalito, cumbia, media cana, polka, and rasguido doble — all genres that originated in that South American country).

Nico’s Arepas Grill and Kebablicious provide the eats and we’ll save a seat for you on our picnic blanket. A free tango class happens at 7 p.m. if you’re trying to warm up.

Next Thurs. Sept. 26, 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. No cover. Tampa Water Works Park, Tampa. INFO.
