This weekend, Jannus Live is home to a rare sighting of a non-local band (homegrown acts have carried the concert calendar since coronavirus effectively shut down the touring industry). Al Anderson, though not an original Original Wailer, has been a part of the Wailers since the band had a pretty famous frontman—Bob Marley

Though the band consists of a lot of newbies, it is keeping reggae dreams alive with constant touring and new albums. It even scored a Grammy nomination for a 2012 album, Miracle. Four-piece roots reggae band Badda Skat opens. On a related note, is marijuana legal in Florida yet? Asking for a friend..

The Original Wailers feat. Al Anderson w/Badda Skat. Sun. Nov. 29, 6 p.m. $20-$25. Jannus Live, St. Petersburg. jannuslive.com
