Two big concerts are stopping at Ruth Eckerd Hall in the next three months.
First, three-time Grammy-winning crooner Harry Connick, Jr. and his orchestra comes to town Friday, February 12, in support of Connick's most recent Columbia Records release, Your Songs, a collection of popular tunes ranging from The Beatles' "And I Love Her" and Elton Johns "Your Song," to Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Some Enchanted Evening" and "Bésame Mucho" by Consuelo Velázquez. Tickets are $49, $80 and $100; the sale starts this Friday, January 8, at noon.
And twangy alt rockers Wilco [pictured] bring their East Coast run to Florida, hitting Miami on Monday, March 22, and Ruth Eckerd Hall on Tuesday, March 23. According to the release, "An Evening with Wilco" features "extended, varied sets exploring material from each of the accomplished Chicago sextets seven studio albums," including their latest Grammy-nominated Wilco (The Album). Tickets are $28 and $38, and will be made available to the public at noon this Friday, January 8.
