Mr. “Crimson & Clover” (aka Tommy James) is stepping away from the SiriusXM mic for a day to reminisce about outselling The Beatles for a year and the criminals that ran Roulette Records—where he was signed for seven years.

Expect this set during opening weekend for the 2025 Florida Strawberry Festival to run through a retrospective of Tommy James & the Shondells’ psychedelic, oftentimes underrated, career.

Oh, and if he comes out into the crowd near the end of this matinee and you want to score a pic or autograph, please, for the love of all that’s holy, don’t trample the guy, OK?

James’ set this weekend is just one of more than two dozen concerts coming to the Florida Strawberry Festival over the next two weeks. Reba McEntire’s show is sold-out, but tickets remain for the rest of the huge gigs including some from Lauren Daigle, Nelly, Boyz II Men, John Fogerty and more.

Except for Jimmy Sturr’s Feb. 27 set, there is an extra charge to see any of the headline concerts coming to the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City between Feb. 27-March 9.
