“We need a bit more time,” Orpheum owner Jerry “Lazy” Dufrain told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. So he moved Friday’s concert by Green Day-approved San Francisco punk trio Destroy Boys to The Ritz in Ybor City. Tickets from the original venue will be honored at the door.
Starset, which was supposed to play next Friday, June 17 will also play the Ritz instead. Starset’s show at Orpheum was listed as sold-out, but CL has reached out to LiveNation to see if more tickets will be made available now that the show’s moved to a bigger room.
