‘Tombstone’ lookin’ Canadian roots band The Dead South plays St. Pete next week

Quaker-lookin’, suspender-wearing roots band The Dead South is blowing into St. Pete’s Jannus Live from the Great White North (Saskatchewan) with its well-deserved Juno Awards in tow (two for Traditional Album of the Year).

The group supports two newish EPS—Easy Listening for Jerks, Parts 1 and 2—and won’t be afraid to venture away from the traditional sounds it’s known for at this show where Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band warms St. Pete up with its special brand of washboard rhythm revival.
