Later this month, Jannus Live hosts a major Pride concert with Idina Menzel and a barrage of local talent. Think of McKenna—a 24-year-old British glam rocker carrying the torch for David Bowie, minus the androgyny—as an unofficial launch to St. Pete’s Pride-related entertainment.

McKenna, who writes most of his material with little assistance, if any at all, says that pansexuality is the closest description of his sexuality and has spoken out against conversion therapy.
