Let's get this out of the way, I adore Maggie Rogers. She's just so damn likable and talented. I knew once I watched the quirky video for her breakout song "Alaska," she was on her way to becoming a well-liked artist and probable star in this business (watch her perform it in Fallon above).

She just dropped her lovely debut EP Now That The Light Is Fading, this past week. Meshing folk pop with lush electronic undertones, Maggie has molded three genres of music that I didn't think would ever sound this refreshing. The only downfall to her excellent EP is that she only gave us two new songs, as the remaining three have already been released. My only hope is she's gearing up for a full album release before too long. Give "Better" a spin or two and let her unique croon soak in. You have a huge fan here, Maggie.

PLAZA is a Hartlepool four-piece that has fine tune in their new song "Origami." Chilly guitars and echoing vocals showcase a post-punkish shoegaze vibe that is very compelling. PLAZA is expected to release an EP sometime this April, but for now, this jam will have to do.

L.A. band HEALTH shared their third surprise remix album last week appropriately titled DISCO3. It features tracks from their 2015 record, Death Magic. Purity Ring, Preoccupations and Vessels are just few artists that contributed here, and they threw in three new tracks; "EUPHORIA" being the one I chose for this week's Tune-Up. Swirling synths, skittering drums and their signature laid-back vocal arrangement make this a typical creation from HEALTH, which is always satisfying.
