This should be obvious to longtime fans of the genre, but contrary to its moniker, Americana music is quite international.

Chinese-American Nashville songwriter Kevin So—former touring keyboardist for Keb’ Mo’—embodies that ideal, and writes strong melodies into songs that cross boundaries into country, pop and blues. After sharing stages with Mo’, Joe Cocker, Billy Bragg and Randy Newman, So plays an intimate solo show inside a St. Petersburg bungalow.

Tickets to see Kevin So play Craftsman House in St. Petersburg on Saturday, May 4 are still available for $22.
