Florida rapper Plies filmed a music video in South Tampa restaurant Luv Child

You might remember him from his 2007 hit "Hypnotized" ft. Akon.

Fort Myers-based rapper Plies dropped his latest album The Real Testament II last week, and he just debuted a brand new music video for its leading single, “Hotwire.” The music video might look familiar to Tampa Bay foodies, as the set is SoHo’s hottest Latin-fusion restaurant, Luv Child.

Luv Child’s bright pink decor and high ceilings are the backdrop to Plies latest anthem about love and stealing bitches.

The hip SoHo restaurant enthusiastically shared the music video on its Instagram earlier today; the “Hotwire” visual already has already amassed over 35,000 views on YouTube alone in a few hours.
