Unfortunately, Massachusetts-based hard rock outfit Godsmack confirmed that its latest album, Lighting Up the Sky is its last.

The good news is that Godsmack’s core lineup still gets along perfectly, and following this current run of promotional shows, the hard rock mainstay plans to center most of its time together around touring and performing in a manner that will soon turn it into a nostalgia act.

Tickets to see Godsmack, Atreyu, and Flat Black play Tampa’s Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, Sept. 8 are still available and start at $29.50. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
