The sound of ukuleles will once again fill the air in downtown Clearwater this weekend.

Kicking off with a coffee and doughnut warm up on Saturday, the 3rd annual Ukulele Fest in the Distry features several strum and strolls up and down the 400 block of Cleveland Street throughout the day.

In between the strolls are scheduled group jams, free beginner lesions, advanced player workshops, plus a handful of concerts featuring the likes of Tom Hood, Kirk Jones, Pineapple Scruffs, Moondog, and The Spirit Band.

A headlining concert at Peace Memorial Church features sweet harmonies from Utah trio The Birdwatchers.

Many events happening during the 3rd Ukulele Fest in the District on Saturday, April 13 are free to attend, but tickets for select concerts and workshops start at $20.
